Our history

S.C CONSTRUCȚII CONICO S.R.L. Sfântu Gheorghe was founded as an entirely privately owned company in 1992 by the association of 14 individuals within the Industrial Building Trust in Brasov of the former Ministry of Industrial Construction, trust with an old tradition in the construction field.

The company management is built up of a Managing Board composed of five people plus the chief financial officer of the company.

The effective management of the company is ensured through:

as shareholders, as well.

Since its establishment, the company acquired and developed, managing the equipment with machinery and own means of transport, as well as own headquarters and a production base consisting of: concrete plant, metal grid workshop, fittings shop, carpentry workshop and precast concrete plants, garages, warehouses, storage platforms, park of heavy, medium sized and small machinery for all types of construction work, etc.

Currently, the company has all the equipment and transportation means necessary for proper performing of building installation works.

Workforce is well prepared with all range of crafts with approximately 200 employees. The whole staff includes 9 engineers, two foremen, 5 technicians, 1 economist, 2 accountants and 8 officials with secondary and higher/upper education level.

Furthermore, we have a well developed information system which allows the performing of fast and efficient operational links between company departments.

It was implemented and certified in all the main areas of both main and secondary activity the so-called QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM upon the following STANDARD: EN ISO 9001: 2008, ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: EN ISO 14001:2004, OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: OHSAS 18001:2007 and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY SYSTEM SA 8000:2008.

In the period between 1992-2011, our unit has made several representative buildings both in Covasna county and other areas of the country.

Through a high quality of the works, as well as a good organization of the technological processes, respectively a properly selected commercial strategy, SC CONSTRUCȚII CONICO SRL Sfântu Gheorghe promptly responds to all internal and external beneficiaries' expectations.
